What does tar surfacing cost per square metre?
It depends on the area, the state of the existing base and access for plant. A large open car park costs far less per square metre than a tight driveway. We measure on site and quote a rate in writing.
Can you resurface without closing the car park?
Yes. We phase the work in sections so tenants, staff or residents always have access and parking. The programme comes with the quote.
How long before we can drive on it?
Usually 24 to 48 hours depending on temperature and layer thickness. We tell you per section so you can plan around it.
Do you repair potholes only, or full areas?
Both. Sometimes patching is the sensible spend and sometimes it is throwing money at a base that has already failed. We will tell you which, honestly.
Do you work for body corporates and managing agents?
Yes — complexes, business parks, schools and retail centres are a large part of what we do. We can present the quote to a trustee meeting if that helps.
Are you registered for municipal work?
Yes. Level 1 BBBEE contributor, CIDB registered, and we do reinstatement work for the City of Cape Town.
