Block paving laid properly — compacted sub-base, edge restraint, kerbing and jointed sand. Done by our own crews, not sub-let to whoever is available.

Most failed paving isn't a paver problem — it's what's underneath. Paving sinks, spreads and cracks when the sub-base was never compacted or the edges were never restrained. We build the layers first and lay the surface last.
We measure, check the fall for drainage, and confirm levels against your thresholds and gate.
Excavate to depth, lay and compact G5 base course in layers. This is what carries the load.
Concrete edging or kerb along every open edge so the paving cannot spread sideways over time.
Screeded bedding sand, then pavers laid to your chosen pattern — herringbone, stretcher or basket weave.
Plate compact the surface, then brush kiln-dried jointing sand into every joint and re-compact.
We clear the site and remove the spoil. You get the driveway back, not a mess.

A fixed price in writing with the scope spelled out. Not a rough number over the phone.
Scheduled, done by iLifa staff, site cleared afterwards. We hand it over finished.
It depends on the paver you choose, the area in square metres, and how much excavation the site needs. A level driveway on good ground costs a lot less than one needing deep excavation and retaining. We measure on site and give you a firm written price — no charge, no obligation.
A standard residential driveway is usually three to five working days including sub-base and curing. Larger commercial areas are phased so you keep access throughout.
For a driveway, 60mm bevel or interlock is standard. For heavy vehicles or commercial yards, go to 80mm bond pavers. Clay pavers hold their colour permanently but cost more. We bring samples to the site assessment.
Yes. We carry cement, bricks, sheeting and the full paving range at trade rates, so materials come through us on the same contract rather than you sourcing separately.
We work throughout the Western Cape and in Gauteng. Tell us where the site is and we will confirm.
