Stretch carpet, glue-down carpet and vinyl, laminate, bamboo and solid wood — supplied and installed by our own fitters. And because most flooring fails from underneath, we do the self-levelling too.
Send us the rooms and rough square metres. We measure on site, bring samples, and quote in writing.

Different rooms want different floors, and the honest answer is rarely one product through the whole house. Carpet where you want warmth and quiet, vinyl where water is a risk, laminate or timber where you want the look of wood. What every one of them shares is that the finish is only ever as flat as the base underneath it.
Professional installation of stretch and tufted carpet, tensioned over underlay and secured on gripper rods around the perimeter. Soft, quiet and warm underfoot — the premium finish for bedrooms, living areas, offices and hotels.
Carpet bonded directly to the prepared floor. Flatter, more stable and far better under castor chairs and heavy foot traffic, which makes it the usual choice for offices and commercial spaces.
Vinyl permanently bonded to the prepared surface with adhesive, in a wide range of colours, patterns and finishes. Hard-wearing, easy to clean and suited to both homes and commercial areas. Preparation is everything here — every hollow shows through a bonded sheet.
Click-system laminate in a broad range of wood-look finishes and colours. Durable, quick to install and the closest look to natural timber at a far more affordable price. Best in dry interiors — bedrooms, living areas and offices.
Strand-woven and horizontal bamboo — harder underfoot than most hardwoods, dimensionally stable, and a genuinely fast-renewing material for clients who care where the floor came from.
Solid timber boards laid, sanded and sealed on site. The floor you can refinish decades from now instead of replacing. Needs a dry, level substrate and proper acclimatisation before a single board goes down.
Self-levelling compound applied to correct an uneven subfloor into a smooth, flat, even surface. Essential before vinyl, carpet or any covering where a dip in the base will show in the finish — and useful when you need to build the floor up to a specific height.
Skirtings, quarter round beading, gripper rods, T-profiles, reducers, end caps and stair nosings — fitted and matched, not left off the quote and charged later.

We come out, measure and check the conditions. Free, and no obligation to proceed.
A fixed price in writing with the scope spelled out. Not a rough number over the phone.
Scheduled, done by iLifa staff, site cleared afterwards. We hand it over finished.
It depends entirely on the covering you choose and how much preparation the subfloor needs. Carpet, laminate, vinyl, bamboo and solid wood sit at very different price points, and a floor needing self-levelling costs more than one that is already flat. Herringbone adds labour and offcut waste on top. We measure and quote in writing, free.
You need it when the subfloor is out of tolerance — and we check with a straight edge rather than guessing. It matters most under glue-down vinyl and carpet, where the covering follows every contour of the base. Skipping it is the most common reason a new floor looks wrong within months.
Stretch carpet over underlay is softer, warmer and more comfortable, which is why it suits bedrooms, living areas and hotel rooms. Glue-down is flatter and more stable, holds up better under office chairs and heavy traffic, and is the standard for commercial floors.
Laminate gives you the timber look at the lowest cost and installs fastest. Bamboo is harder underfoot than most hardwoods and very stable. Solid wood costs the most but can be sanded and resealed decades later rather than replaced. We will talk you through the trade-offs on site rather than pushing the dearest option.
Usually yes, if the tiles are sound, level and dry — it saves the cost and mess of lifting them. Where tiles are drummy, cracked or badly out of level we will say so. Laying over a bad base hides the problem rather than solving it.
Yes to both. We lift and dispose of old carpet, laminate, vinyl or tiles and move furniture as part of the job. Mention it at the measure and it goes into the quote instead of appearing as an extra later.
A three-bedroom home in straight-lay laminate or vinyl is typically two to four days once the subfloor is ready. Carpet is often quicker. Herringbone roughly doubles laying time, and self-levelling needs curing time before we start — all of which we allow for in the programme.
Both move with temperature and humidity. Without a perimeter gap the floor has nowhere to go and lifts or peaks in the middle of the room. Skirting or quarter round covers the gap so you never see it, but leaving it out is a guaranteed callback.

Set the sizes, choose the finishes and see it drawn to scale. Add everything your job needs to one project, then request a single quote — and we’ll call you to talk it through.
Send a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you roughly what you’re looking at before we even come out.
